After years working in emergency medicine, critical care, clinical education, and mentorship, Justin Joffe recognized the same challenges appearing year after year. Students were not struggling because they lacked medical knowledge. They were struggling because they lacked structured guidance for applying that knowledge in real clinical settings.
Skills such as documentation, oral case presentations, clinical workflow, and translating textbook knowledge into patient care are essential to becoming a successful clinician, yet they are often learned through trial and error during rotations.
ChartRx was created to give students the practical resource Justin wished had existed during his own clinical year: a trusted companion for navigating rotations with greater confidence, organization, and clinical insight.
What began as a collection of personal notes has grown into an educational platform dedicated to supporting healthcare trainees from the classroom to clinical practice.
